Scam or Not?
Like most programs, Leadpages to has a few unhappy customers, but does that make it a scam? Leadpages has been ranked in the top 15 best landing page creation programs along with GetResponse and yes, that is a thing. They have very successful clients and bunches of people who are will to stand by its legitimacy. So, the short answer is, they are not a scam.
What About Support?
There are lots of articles on the website itself about all the most common topics that people need help with. Other than that, there is also the email service, where you can email for help. You can furthermore get help via chat or phone. All in all, the support they offer is not that bad.

Leadpages – Pros
The program itself along with most of the tools and features are quite easy to use.
A large variety of stunning templates to choose from, when building websites/landing pages.
One free, customizable domain is included if an annual plan was your option.
Loads of articles and so forth to teach you about everything there is to know.
It can be a bit pricey, especially for those who do not have the cash to spend on a program that might not work for them.
They do not have regular updates, nor do they add any new features or tools. This can be a problem, seeing as the rest of the online world evolves at a very fast pace.
This is definitely not an overpriced program! Expensive, yes, but worth spending money on if you are serious about online marketing. I had found that there is some learning curve involved when it comes to familiarizing one self with the platform and how it works. However, marketing and website development have a learning curve itself anyway right? If you are already familiar with WordPress and setting up some basic marketing campaigns, it will take little time to learn how to use Leadpages. If you are a complete newbie, I suggest that you take one of the cheaper options to get you started. I am a huge fan of programs with trial options, and Leadpages has just that, a change to test the product before buying!
