In this Overwatch review, everything related to the game will be revealed, whether it is the game play or the computer specs, if it is important to know, then it is discussed here. As a multiplayer online game, Overwatch has become quite popular, especially now that games such as Fortnite, Apex Legends and even PubG are becoming the games to play. Well, with so many different games out in the world, finding the right one can become a task in itself. So, here is a detailed overview along with some cliff notes to help you decide.
Overwatch – Quick Overview
Multi-player, team based shooter game, hero shooter game.
Game Graphics (Blood, bodies)
The game does not include blood or blood spatter of any kind. It is completely blood free, however it does contain bodies. Once another player’s character is killed, a body will appear at the site of his/her death. The body will only be there for a couple of seconds before disappearing though.
The violence rating for the game is mid-ranged, due to the fact that the only violence present is the fact that players have to hunt and kill one another. Blood and so forth has been excluded to keep the rating low and the game viable for the younger generation.
Does the game include foul speech, drugs or weapons?
Drugs and alcohol is definitely not included in this game, but it does include a bunch of different types of weapons. Foul speech is not included in the game itself either, but there is no telling what kind of speech other players might use, seeing as it is a multiplayer online game.
First or Third Person Shooter?
First-person shooter game.
The game in itself does not include parental control settings, even though it has a low age restriction, but most of the sites and online game shops, does have the settings, so one can control what is bought and installed.
Is it an Online or Offline Game?
Since the game is multiplayer, an internet connection will be needed in order to play the game. Updates and so forth also need an internet connection.
Free or Purchased?
The Overwatch game can cost you anywhere from EUR19.99 depending on the edition you choose, the platform it is for and from where you buy it.
There are also the in-game purchases. One can either buy credits to spend, or buy the items directly with real life money.

Overwatch Game Play
Overwatch is a hero based game where the player, in a team of six, has to fight another team of six players. After choosing a hero and an objective (The game has 6+ different game modes from arcade to competitive play), one will be tossed on to one of many different maps where you will have a mission to complete. It will be either another team trying to stop you from doing so, or your team stopping another, depending on the game mode chosen and so forth. While playing, there will be a few different things to consider. Each hero has a special ability, which can only be used after charging it up (Charged up by playing the game, helping allies). Loot boxes can be found inside the game, which include cosmetics that can be used to customize heroes and so forth. There are also challenges, events and so forth that can be completed to gain cosmetics and such or to level up your tiers.
To put it in short:
Choose a hero to play with. (It can be changed during the game).
Pick a game mode. (It can be changed later on or after completing the mission).
Complete your mission no matter what.
Charge up your hero’s special ability, you will need it.
Kill a bunch of other players or AI’s.
Find loot boxes, they contain cosmetics.
Complete challenges, you can win nice goods.
Level up your tiers as the game goes on.
Remember it is a multiplayer online game. You will need a team of 6, you and five others. (If not, the game will pair you up with other players).
Overwatch – Features
31+ heroes to choose from, to be the character you play as. New heroes are added now and then.
28+ maps to play on, each with its own unique design. New maps are added occasionally.
Each map is based on a different location, somewhere in the world we live in.
Each hero has his/ her own weapons set as one may out it. Each weapon has its own unique ability.
All heroes are divided into three categories. Tank (Can take a lot of damage), Support (Gives shield and health to allies, boosts damage) and finally Damage (Loads of tools and abilities to search for and destroy enemies).
6+ Different game modes; each with its own unique goal.
Build your own custom games in the workshop.
The more levels you gain during game play, the more customization you unlock for your characters, giving you the ability to make them sound and look unique.
Similar to that of Fortnite, Overwatch also includes tiers one has to climb by completing challenges or missions.
There are events in which the players can take part. They can be anything from a seasonal thing such as a Halloween theme to competitions and so forth.

Yes, there are different game modes, but they can be repetitive, seeing as the only change is the team you play against.
Gaming can be a very addictive sport and precautions should be taken to avoid health issues, so here are a few quick tips to make sure you stay up and running.
Keep hydrated at all times.
Blood clots are real, and they can form when a person sits for long periods of time. So get up ever so frequently and stretch out all your muscles and get the blood flowing.
Take walks, runs and so forth to get the blood circulating, avoiding blood clots.
Keep an eye on what you eat; a healthy snack can always do you good.
Keep track of the time spent playing games, and make sure to spend time doing other things as well.
Energy drinks and kidneys are not friends so watch the intake.
